The Challenge: The “Directory Dump” Mistake
The client is a growing GP and Wellness/Aesthetic Group with multiple branches across Malaysia. Despite their physical expansion, their digital presence was bottlenecked.
The Problem: They had listed all their branch addresses on a single “Contact Us” or “Locations” page.
- The SEO Flaw: Google was confused. It didn’t know if the website was relevant to “Subang,” “Penang,” or “Johor.” By trying to rank for everywhere on one page, they ranked for nowhere.
- The Symptom: If a user searched “Aesthetic Clinic near me” while standing right next to one of their branches, the website wouldn’t show up in the Map Pack.
They approached Lamanify to untangle this mess and give each branch its own digital identity.
The Strategy: Lamanify’s Multi-Location Framework
We didn’t just tweak keywords; we restructured the entire website architecture using our proven framework for franchises and chains.
1. The “Branch Page” De-Coupling
We moved away from the single “List of Branches” page.
- Action: We created dedicated, SEO-optimized landing pages for each specific location (e.g.,
/locations/shah-alamvs./locations/bangsar). - Why: This allows us to optimize each page for hyper-local keywords like “Klinik Kulit Shah Alam” without confusing Google.
2. Advanced Schema & NAP Mapping
For multi-location SEO, data consistency is king.
- NAP Consistency: We ensured the Name, Address, and Phone number on each page matched exactly with that branch’s Google Business Profile.
- LocalBusiness Schema: We injected specific structured data into each branch page, telling Google: “This specific URL represents the physical clinic at [Coordinates X,Y].“
3. Technical Foundation
We applied our standard “Lamanify Technical Stack” to ensure that despite having more pages, the site remained fast, crawlable, and mobile-responsive.
The Results: Immediate Traction
The graph below shows the impact of proper site architecture.
Above: The red line marks the implementation of our Multi-Location Framework. Notice the immediate “Hockey Stick” spike.
- The “October Pivot”: You can see a distinct spike in impressions (Purple Line) and clicks (Blue Line) starting in late October. This was less than 1 month after our restructuring went live.
- 181,000+ Impressions: By splitting the branches, the brand now casts a much wider net, appearing in local searches across multiple states simultaneously.
- 3.73k Clicks: Because the traffic is landing on specific branch pages (not a generic homepage), the intent is higher, leading to more bookings.
Why This Matters for Chains
If you run a business with multiple locations, your website structure dictates your success. Google treats every physical location as a distinct entity. By giving each branch its own page, we didn’t just improve the website—we effectively launched 10+ mini-websites that all feed into one powerful domain.
